Ooh, that place is cool, thanks for the linky. And wow, they have Kimi & Ritz on the X-mas page... wasn't expecting anything THAT obscure lol
Found this site pretty interesting, especially the color scheme. LOL!
Pretty damn informative, and lots of obscure 70's glam info....

Pretty good site! I'm glad to see some US glam bands beside AC and The Dolls are mentioned!!
I don't agree with their thoughts on the '80s or '90s, but otherwise the site is great.
NOT that informative I'm afraid. I certainly wouldn't rely on information from a geezer who thinks that Steve Priest was the 'guitarist' in Sweet!
<font size="4" face="Arial">Did he actually say that? I did notice the section called "Camp Guitarist", and of course, Priest was quite outrageous. Of course I know Steve was the bassist.Originally posted by Blittz:

When I said informative, I meant about all the obscure bands on there. Being born in the US, and in 1970, I hadn't heard of many of these bands, but probably will check out a few if the oppurtunity arises. Has anybody heard that Brett Smiley stuff??? A lot of bands on here I'd like to hear.
That's mainly what I liked, the bands you don't hear about now, such as Another Pretty Face.
As for Brett Smiley, his music has been released on CD recently, amazon.com has it.
...but Pan's People??? Should they be there? Isn't that kind of like saying that the Solid Gold Dancers were Pop? Seems silly, IMO.
There could probably be a ton of arguing about who should and shouldn't be on there. I haven't really looked at it thoroughly, since basically I saw it, looked around, then linked it. What I do like is that usually on the questionable ones he listed the association to glam that the bands have. I really liked the whole "Junk glam" pages, because there are a ton of bands I've never heard, along with pics. By the pics, most looked fairly glam. I'll just have to seek out soem of this stuff, and judge for myself. BTW, I've always loved pop, so if it's more "pop" than "glam", thet's fine too.
